Expectations for the Salsa & Bachata Teacher Assistant Role
Availability: Cover the total number of workshop dates.
Professionalism: Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude; dress appropriately for a dance class environment.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with attendees regarding class schedules and relevant information.
Social Media Engagement: Capture photos and videos during classes for promotional purposes, respecting privacy and consent. No posting required.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that arise during classes or social events.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the lead instructor and other team members to ensure a smooth class experience.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from attendees and report this to the lead instructor for continuous improvement.
Commitment to Learning: Show a willingness to learn and improve dance skills and teaching methods.

Additional Criteria for Applicants ✨
Priority for Sanura Dance Students: Preference will be given to individuals who have completed our workshops or consistently attended our drop-in classes, as they already embody the Sanura Dance spirit and understand our space.
Suitability Review: The role will be offered after a thorough review of applicants against the suitability criteria.
Commitment to Learning: Demonstrate a genuine desire to progress in dance education and skills.
Aspiration to Teach: This role is not suitable for complete beginners. Applicants must have prior experience, having completed at least one workshop or possessing some foundational knowledge in salsa and bachata. This ensures effective assistance in our classes. You can further enhance your skills with our instructional videos.
Prior Experience: Must have completed at least one cycle of the level to assist in our salsa and bachata classes for effective assistance. You can learn with our videos.
Final Selection: The ultimate decision will be based on the best overall candidate, taking into account all criteria and the individual's potential to contribute to our community.
