Laura Hechler (sher/her)
Laura Hechler brings a wealth of dance experience and a passion for inclusive partner dancing to Sanura Dance. Her journey began at the age of 5 with modern dance, but it was at 13 that she discovered her love for partner dances through Latin and Ballroom.
Laura's expertise spans a wide range of dance styles, including bachata, salsa, rueda, zouk, and tango Argentino. Her dedication to the craft led her to become a teaching assistant at just 15, and by 17, she had founded, choreographed, and taught her own performance group.
At Sanura Dance, Laura's teaching philosophy aligns perfectly with our mission to empower FLINTA individuals through dance:

Diverse Styling: Students explore a range of expressions through various dance styles, from the sensual zouk to the energetic salsa.
